Dan & Lee Kuauper wanted to update their 70’s style ranch on one of Willow Point’s most beautiful lots. With spectacular views of the lake, the club’s beach & pool, protecting the lots of mature trees & landscape was essential. By remodeling the existing carport to a garage with a game room, and bedroom/bath above, we were able to increase the home to accommodate family & friends, without affecting the existing landscape. We also added a new entry porch & lake side porch with cedar timbers & stone. It was also time to update the family room with high vaulted ceilings and new doors/windows. along the way we designed a pool Cabana & new screen porch, updating the exterior to reflect today’s lake living at it’s best.

Mike & India wanted to update & design new features in their long-time family home in Willow Point. Their wish list included lots of glass in their new family room for viewing, a new master suite with a custom master bath and oversized shower. We enlarged the family room and lifted the ceiling to 20′, which provided a fantastic opportunity to design floor-to-ceiling windows and a reading balcony with a glorious view of the Willow Point golf course.
Turning their one-story ranch into an updated lake home, Mike & India selected Lauc Hunter, where he handcrafted many of the details. This re-birth of their home certainly catches the eye and has given Mike and India many great sunset afternoons.

On this project, our goal was to update the exterior of the existing home by adding a screened lower porch and a 2nd-floor entertainment porch. We also designed an infinity-edge pool, with a full live-in pool house, including 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, & living area. The pool house is designed with an outdoor grilling kitchen and a circular-shaped timber-beamed lanai. The pool area includes an outdoor fireplace & waterfalls into the pool.

Carl had purchased a new lake home but wanted to make substantial upgrades prior to moving in. We designed a whole new angled master suite & guest bedrooms on the basement level below. The unique angled construction allowed for a creative layout for the master bath, featuring a large shower, his & hers walk-in closets, entire master bath, including baseboards & crown molding were completely done in imported Italian marble. We added new covered porches & extensive exterior upgrades. We completely renovated the kitchen with 10′ tall cabinets and a 12′ island and added a new dining room. On the basement level, we re-designed the den for grand entertaining, including a sunken walk-in bar seating six, and a large climate-controlled wine cellar to house Carl’s extensive worldwide wine collection. With the new lake-side exterior, we created the custom look that Carl was looking for.
